13 - Punk Minimalism

punk + minimalism =

there might be a lot of people who likes punk culture but they don't dare to dress up like the punk style because they scared people might judge them negatively. there are also a little group of people that dress up like punk style nowadays. but, there is a solution for these kind of people that i came up with punk minimalism topic.
by combining punk and minimalism it will be suitable for people to use this kind of clothes everyday. the clothes will roughly look like some of the pictures below.

11 - Breaking the rules in Minimalism

As i did my research and ask some of people in online survey about minimalism, i am thinking about breaking the rules of minimalism as a new trend. as in like minimalism is well known as its clean cut, straight, simplicity, monochrome and not much prints and colors can play on.

instead of it, let's think about punk minimalism.
according to oxford dictionary, punk meaning are :

  1. A loud, fast-moving, and aggressive form of rock music, popular in the late 1970s. ‘punk had turned pop music and its attendant culture on its head’
  2. An admirer or player of punk rock, typically characterized by coloured spiked hair and clothing decorated with safety pins or zips.
  3. A worthless person (often used as a general term of abuse)
punk in fashion are shown below :

as we can see punk fashion feels like kind of bad person looks with those accessories, tattoos, hair, make up, piercing, etc.

how can we combine punk and minimalism?

by elimination some unnecessary part in punk fashion and add more minimalism. punk fashion well know as their studs leather jacket. might can eliminate the studs and put it in a minimalist way. not too much and not to less.
we can put some 'tattoo' kind of prints.
