on tutorial week, we have a replacement class which is field trip to Gillman Barracks. there are a lot of different galleries. i went to around 4 or 5 galleries there because a lot of galleries that close on that day also. from that place, i can learn something trends that all their galleries are minimalist, clean, simple and sophisticated looks. the place is very comfortable and wide. mostly, the galleries are all about painting. but the way that they put the paintings in a room is quite nice and every gallery has their own comfortable and feel. Gillman Barracks also has some kind of installation arts outside the gallery. so there are some variety that they use. not all they put into the gallery but some are displayed outside the gallery also like in the middle when u walk to one gallery to another gallery u must see some of these stuffs.
